We support clients across all areas of family mediation, including arrangements for children and financial matters following separation. The focus remains on impartiality, guiding discussions clearly and supporting constructive progress.
We also work collaboratively with solicitors, financial advisers and other professionals as part of a joined-up approach to family resolution.
The process takes place with a clear awareness of the family law context in which decisions are made. Where helpful, general legal information can be provided to support understanding and discussion. Responsibility for decisions always remains with the clients, and independent legal advice is encouraged alongside mediation where appropriate.

MinusOne Mediation was founded by Kristyna Hawkett, a family mediator. Her work is characterised by a calm, structured and impartial approach, focused on facilitating productive discussions and ensuring that each party has the opportunity to be heard. As a mediator, her role is to support the process, provide legal information where appropriate and maintain neutrality at all times.
